I have just finished a week long knitting seminar in Borgarbyggð in W-Iceland. I taught spinning, the traditional way and was an assistant in various matters and a guide during a day trip in Borgarbyggð where amongst other interesting places we visited Háafell goat farm, the biggest goat farm in Iceland. I have the ongoing project with the Icelandic cashmere and this is the farm where most of it comes from. The goat farm website is www.geitur.is The knitting seminar was in many matters different from what I had imagined before going there. About 100 participants and only women apart from the on male instructor, also teaching spinning. I can in short words now say: I learnt a lot. And I will say in longer words soon.
