This one was taken out of the loom before the spring piece but totally finished just a few days ago. It is made from jeans and various other rags in merry colours. Preceding it was a carpet I told about on the blog in December . The idea for that carpet was that in it are the jeans of an entire family but they also wanted it in bright happy colours. This one that I am telling about today came after the Lord of Rings carpet. Actually there are rings in it too the so called goose eyes. And there were several beings struggling to obtain the ring in order to carry the Lord of the Rings and be the lord too.
I think these two goose ring carpet can compete with each other to be a lord of the goose rings and non of them being the winner as it is the taste of the viewer that counts for every little victory. What do you think, guest of my blog?

I really, really like this. The pattern is very similar to the rug you made me. However, mine is more autumnal hues - it has a softer look to it. The colours in this rug really work well, as they are far more vibrant and uplifting. Spring colours that bode new life is coming. Also the tassels on the end - I like the colour. The tassels on mine are white - again giving it more of an autumnal/winter feel. Having said all that - I love my rug enormously! But yes, this one is really lovely. I think it is the pink that works well in this, and really brings out the pattern. Well done. It is beautiful.

Thank you very much, Do appreciate getting a comment and such a good one. It is correct Damyn, yours is autumnal going winter. I was in a phase of earthly colours in the late 90's after having worked with really bright ones for a while in the early 90's. That is how I remember it, have to peek at some old photos to be sure.
