I spent a few days visiting goats and I haven't been weaving att all. Anyway I am stuck in my weaving work but hopefully I can get started again today.
This time of year the goats shed their fleece and I have been helping friends that keep goats to comb them. I stayed a few days at a farm in Skagafjörður, northern Iceland and was hanging out with the goats in their field to photograph them. It is rather amusing and very fulfilling to spend time with them. I got a few good pics that I am sharing on the weberstrasse goat section http://weberstrasse-cashmere.weebly.com/. I would be very pleased if you want to look at them. The Icelandic goats are an endangered species and there are mere 729 of them. Now when kidding time is just about over there is much more of them.
